A home run by Reggie Jackson in the first inning. I don’t specifically remember it and at the time was likely not near as excited about it as the ones I would see from him 7 years later. I do remember seeing Steve Kline – a promising young player – pitch a few times at the stadium that year. Also, Thurman Munson’s rookie season.
