The Views menu selects the primary data entry windows for the Beyond Category application. There can only be one instance of any window selected by this menu. If the window for any menu item is not already showing, it will be created and shown. If the window for any selected menu is already displayed, it will be brought to the front.
Views Menu Items
Albums
This menu will activate the Albums window. It is on this window where any general information about the window is entered along with track and personnel data.
Song/Personnel/Labels
These 3 menu items activate the same Songs/Personnel/Labels window. Pressing any one of the 3 menu items will automatically select the corresponding panel for that window. This window is used for adding, editing or deleting any song, personnel, or label entry on the database.
Reports
This menu item has two sub menus:
• Album List – Using this menu will activate the Album List Generator window where a customized album report can be created.
• Valuation – Using this menu will activate the Valuation window displaying the valuation totals for all albums broken down by format.
Playlists
This menu item will display the Playlists window. Any number of playlists can be created and tracks from the Albums window can be dragged to the created playlists to populate them.
Album Filter
This menu will toggle the display of the floating Album Filter window. If the window is already displayed, pressing this menu will hide it.
