Use the Instruments window to enter, edit, or delete instruments. Access this window via the Views->Instruments menu.
Fields:
| Instrument | Enter the full name of the instrument. |
| Abbrev | The abbreviation field is generally used in reports and displays of personnel. |
Buttons:
| New | Use this button to put the window into a mode that will allow adding a new instrument. When this button is pressed, all fields will be blanked, and the Edit and Delete buttons will be changed to Save and Cancel respectively. Once the fields are entered, pressing the Save button will commit the new instrument name to the database. Pressing Cancel will revert the window back to the state it had before New was pressed. No changes will be saved. instrument names and abbreviations must be unique. |

When this button is pressed the Edit and Delete buttons will be changed to Save and Cancel respectively. | Delete Label | Pressing this button will remove the instrument name from the database. This action is unrecoverable. Only instrument names that are unused by any personnel in the database in the database can be deleted. |
