WordPress is a Content Management System for building websites. People or organizations that want to update the content on their website on a regular basis do well to have a CMS type website. While the initial cost of setup is a little higher than a traditional website, that cost is quickly recovered because the website owner can do their own updating to the content – saving the cost of paying someone to do it.
In addition, WordPress sites are responsive to whatever device is accessing it. That is, if a good theme is used, the site will look good on a computer, tablet, or smartphone with minimal effort.
Once the site is built, the client controls how the site is maintained. I have some clients that do all their own updating, while some delegate it all to me. Or it can be a mix of the client doing what they are comfortable with while turning the more complex work to me. I am happy to work on whatever plan works for you.
There are many CMS products available. I have found WordPress to be the most user friendly and flexible.
Below is a selection of websites I’ve created using WordPress.
